A local giving scheme is about supporting the strength and work which is already going on in the borough. And there is just so much amazing work happening in Greenwich’s charity and voluntary sector – people who are seeing a need, and choosing to step up and put their time and effort and care into their community.
We are here to help and support those efforts in delivering the work that matters most. To hear about the latest opportunities, please join our mailing list and follow us on social media.
Greenwich Giving has a growing network of business contacts who want to offer pro-bono support to local charities and community groups. This could be - a group of corporate volunteers to help at an event; a repair or renovation for your building; or specialist advice on finance, strategy or HR.
If you are part of a charity or group that could benefit from pro-bono support, please get in touch!
Based on a community consultation, the theme for our first Giving Campaign is 'Social Connection and Reducing Loneliness'. We will be looking to support projects and charities that bring Greenwich residents together.
100% of donations raised by our Giving Campaign will be distributed to local charities & community groups through a small grants fund, which will be launched in 2025.
We know that the charitable and voluntary sector in Greenwich holds a huge amount of expertise. We want to hear from you! Whether you have an idea for our next campaign or want to tell us what type of giving you need, we are always happy to chat.
We also provide opportunities for input and feedback via the METRO GAVS network.
