Because of this, Greenwich Giving's first campaign focused on bringing together funds, practical support and resources for resident-led projects that brought people together, reduced isolation and created lasting connections.
Together, we raised over £30,000 worth of support for local projects - including £12,500 for a community-led grants pot and nearly £20k worth of pro-bono support that was donated by businesses and housing providers working in the borough.

Now, Greenwich Giving is planning the launch of its next Giving Campaign, collecting insights from Greenwich residents. If you'd like to have a say on the theme of our next campaign, get in touch!
Too many people in the Borough are unable to speak about getting help for loneliness. We need more activities and clubs.
We asked hundreds of Greenwich residents what issue they'd like us to focus on, and the answer was clear.
Loneliness and isolation affects people of all ages and all backgrounds. People who are already vulnerable - due to poverty, disability or discrimination - are even more likely to struggle.
100% of donations from our first giving campaign went to community-led projects in Greenwich.
What's more, local people decided how every pound was spent, ensuring your gift tackled loneliness where it's needed most.
There are far too many people who feel isolated whether because of age, health issues or money issues.
I see first hand the effect that [loneliness] has on people.
