Your privacy and your data
Greenwich Giving is a fiscally hosted project of Funders Together, a registered charity. This means that Funders Together is the data controller for any personal information you share with us, and your data is covered by Funders Together's privacy policy, which you can read here.
Below we've set out plainly what information we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
Our mailing list
If you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your name and email address and use these to send you updates about our work. We use MailerLite to manage this. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send you, and we'll remove you promptly.
Grant applications and panel recruitment
If you apply to one of our grant funds or to join our resident panel, we collect the information you provide in your application, including contact details, your project or personal background, and demographic information for monitoring purposes. We keep this information for five years from the date of a decision on your application, and then delete it.
Funder and partner contacts
We hold contact details for individuals at organisations we work with. If you'd like us to update or remove your details, please get in touch.
Bank details
If you receive a grant from us, we'll ask for your bank details to make payment. These are stored securely within Funders Together's Microsoft 365 system and are not shared with third parties. We delete them five years after your final grant payment.
Photography and filming
We sometimes photograph or film at our events and may use images in our communications and on social media. We always ask for your permission on the day. If you'd like us to stop using an image of you in future, please contact us and we'll act on this as quickly as we can. Please note that we may not be able to remove images from materials that have already been published or distributed.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, or to ask us to delete it.
